Soap Creator Brings 'Suds and Scrubs' to Chelmsford
Each Thursday at the Farmers Market, Sandy Hopkins sets up shop to sell soaps and more.
When Sandy Hopkins made her first few bars of soap, she thought she would give just a few as Christmas gifts. But the sweet smelling creations became such a hit, that she decided to take her talent a step further.
Hopkins now runs Suds and Scrubs Cottage, which is the latest in Patch's Chelmsford Farmers Market vendor spotlight video series.
"I think it's great that people would purchase something that I've made," said Hopkins. "It's a nice all-natural soap, it's great for your skin and it's just nice to see people buying it. Come down and check us out."
According to Hopkins, the Chelmsford Farmers Market is a great way to stress shopping local on a weekly basis.
"The market has been great. There's a variety of vendors, not only fruits and vegetables, but many crafts and handmade products. It keeps the local businesses growing and thriving, and keeps the money in the community."
