HOW WILL YOU TAKE YOUR HOUR?

Dear Family and Friends,

It was a beautiful day in Charlestown. Rachel got to have PT outside on the playground. James the foreman of the new playground let Rachel and 2 other kids go outside and enjoy the playground before the ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday. Mayor Menino aka rumbles is cutting the ribbon. She also had some visitors from Brestyan's gym come by! Stephen and Bill & Emily came by...Rachel was really happy to see them.

I went for a 3.5 mile run and visited the nail salon. It was the break I needed. Now I am writing this post while laying in Rachel's bed while watching some silly nickelodeon tv.

Tonight is fall back night! In my world I don't "take my hour" until I want to. My feeling is that as long as I take it before I show up to work on Monday it's fine. Therefore I could take my hour sleeping, I could take it on a hot date (you know if that was possible), I could take it playing with Rachel, or by taking a hot bath and drinking wine (wait I can't do that here...no tub)...see the way it works is I take the hour whenever I want. And by this I mean I actually take my hour like 5 times. My kids pretend that this drives them crazy but really I bet they will do the same thing someday. Really the gift of a free hour only comes once a year I feel like you should be able to cash it in anyway you like it. For me the hot date and hot bath will have to wait for another time. This year I plan to take my hour taking a nap. Or maybe playing with Rachel. Or maybe creating a scrap book. See I can't decide. How will you enjoy your free hour?
