My thoughts exactly. I don't think our selectmen have the credentials to act as the "Chelmsford Trade Commission" and see no value in it, either.

ReplyNone of us are surprised with what this guy said. The only surprise is why anyone would admit to knowing him or being associated with the Tea Party. Even the Klan had enough sense to wear hoods so that no one would know who they were.

ReplyI'm one of those Java customers who parks on the other side of the trail and who used to walk up the stairs after I used the trail. I have never seen bikes parked in the Gingerale lot, walks, etc. I have also never seen anyone use the trail after parking in Gingerale's lot.
I'm sure Bertucci's figured that trail-users were an easy mark to blame for the lack of parking spaces in their lot. I'm voting with my wallet as well and will patronize one of the other 752 pizza joints in town.

There is a simply solution for anyone who voted yes, put forth some effort and get involved in changing things if you don't like them.
The fact that Van Liew had no interest in who would replace these selectmen indicates that we have one whiner with money leading a chorus of other whiners.

Come the next election, we will all see how the voters of Plymouth County feel about the nation now knowing they've elected a fool as sheriff.
