ReplyI moved to North Andover the summer before 11th grade. On the first day of my junior year, guidance counselor and track coach Steve Nugent showed me where all of my classes were and made me feel very welcome at (the old) NAHS. Later that year, we packed up and moved to the new building.

ReplyI enjoyed watching the men's basketball team winning the gold medal over Spain, but perhaps the best moment was when the women's soccer team beat Canada in the semifinal 4-3 in extra time before winning the gold against Japan.

ReplyThanks to my dad I was able to go to Fenway quite often as a kid. Some of my fondest memories of the park include going there with my boy scouts troop and seeing Pedro Martinez pitch a great game from the first row on the first base side.
Perhaps my favorite memory is from 1996. The Red Sox had won their first division championship in a long time the year prior. After the game my dad bought me a ball autographed by every member of the team. The ball came in a plastic case and sat atop a plastic stand. Of course the autographs were fake, but this helped me develop a longtime love for baseball. Fenway truly is a magical place (unless you're over 6 feet tall). I'm very excited to watch the festivities today.

Mr. G, yes this goes to town meeting for approval. I will look into obtaining the documents on the project from Mr. Hedison.
