Chelmsford Recycling/Composting, Neighbor

The Chelmsford Recycling  Committee is launching a new program to promote backyard composting of kitchen scraps and yard waste. Compost is one of nature’s best mulches and produces a healthier soil for your lawn, garden and flower beds.  Using your own home-made compost can eliminate the need commercial fertilizers.   Also, by including kitchen scraps you will generate less trash and your trash will be less "fragrant."   Overall, composting is good for the environment and the Town's budget.  Follow Compost Connie and read more about her composting adventures and learn just how easy it is to compost!
