Harrington's stinks. Very expensive and agree with Eileen they are not the friendliest of folks. Save yourself a bundle and go to NH. Market Basket always has good sales on beer and wine and the state liquor stores will save you at least 20%.   more ›

The Best Brunch in Town is...

Who won our readers' choice poll?

We asked and you told us: Cafe Madrid is the winner of this week's readers' choice poll for the best brunch in town. Here's what you said about Cafe Madrid:  Eileen Cushing-Craig: I have been at Cafe Madrid during brunch. We ordered off the menu, but you could go up to the buffet if you wanted. It was Easter, so I don't know for sure whether they offer the brunch every Sunday. They also have a full bar, which means that you can order my favorite brunch treat, Mimosas and my husband's, Bloody Marys.

Seriously? You posting this as a valid result. As far as I can tell, you had 41 responses and 11 voted for this place. 11 Also voted for Moonstones; go figure. Considering the population of Chelmsford, these results fall within the margin of error. So, you got a null result and posted it as a positive result. Very kristaperryan of you.   more ›

"A meal usually taken late in the morning that combines a late breakfast and an early lunch" is the definition in Webster's, so something that was only standard breakfast foods would not be "brunch."   more ›

The greatest place I have ever been to is in downtown Lowell - The Flower Mill. Absolutely amazing and talented. I would recommend everyone to go there for anything. The owner was one of the most pleasant I have ever worked with when ordering flowers.   more ›
