Longtime Chelmsford Hairstylists Look For Success on Stedman Street
Lypor Leong and Christina Truscello crossed just over Route 3 into Lowell with their new salon, Teal Beauty and Makeup Studio.
Two longtime Chelmsford hairstylists have taken their flair for hair a few dozen feet over the Lowell border with their own business. After nearly eight years at Shampoo Hair and Day Spa, Lypor Leong and Christina Truscello have built a new home at TEAL Beauty and Makeup Studio, a new hair and fashion salon on Stedman Street. From its initial opening in late September to the studio’s grand opening this week, the pair has found that many of their customers have migrated with them to Lowell, as Leong has also seen former clients from the Acton area travel to the new location as well. “We became good friends and eventually wanted to do our own thing and do more to help people feel better about themselves,” said Truscello, a Tewksbury …
