Local Knitters Enjoy Their Craft Through Good and Bad Times
Chelmsford knitting group offers crafters a place to share, learn, and support each other.
Whether it's figuring out a new pattern or an argument with a significant other, a group of local knitters come together each week at the Java Room to work out their issues over yarn and industrious needles. Many members of the Chelmsford Knitting Group say it is theraputic. "There's nothing quite like knitting with others," said Rosanna Yuen of Groton, who has been knitting with the group since 2004. "If I miss a week, I feel off and my husband reminds me to take time to go to my knitting group." Attendance at the Chelmsford Knitting Group, founded in 2003, fluctuates due to schedules, but can have as many as 20 knitters at a meeting.
