A Tour of Gingerbread Village

All Saint's Episcopal Church event to benefit Habitat for Humanities

Gingerbread was a liberal term at the 5th annual Gingerbread Village to benefit Habitat for Humanities.  Some of the houses were made out of graham crackers. Some were fashioned from pretzel rods. And one was built from a wheat tortilla. The event, hosted by the All Saints Episcopal Church, consisted of 76 gingerbread houses donated by scout troops, residents, and local businesses. Dozens of people perused the creative (and tasty looking) structures that were provided by people from Chelmsford, Lowell, Tewksbury, Westford, and other surrounding towns. The Gingerbread Village was partly a great event to promote the holiday spirit, and partly a successful fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Lowell. The proceeds from a silent …
