Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates Welcomes Dr. Danka Samardzic

Chelmsford Internal Medicine Department gains new team member.

Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates, a multi-specialty physician practice with offices across eastern Massachusetts and an affiliate of Atrius Health, proudly welcomes Danka Samardzic, MD to the internal medicine department in Chelmsford.  Dr. Samardzic received her medical degree from the University of Sarajevo. She completed an internal medicine internship and residency at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. Prior to joining Harvard Vanguard, Dr. Samardzic was an internist with Riverside Medical Group in Lowell. She is board certified in internal medicine. Backpacks: Pack Them Light, Wear Them Right

The following was submitted to Chelmsford Patch and was written by Dr. Elliot Suarez.  With school back in full swing, backpacks are a practical way for children and teens to carry books and supplies back and forth to school. They are designed to distribute the weight of the load among some of the body’s strongest muscles, and when used correctly, backpacks can be useful equipment.
