Chelmsford Town Clerk Elizabeth Delaney and her office are responsible for recording all birth, marriage and death certificates, as well as dog licenses and elections. The town clerk's office also processes all absentee ballots and keeps a record of candidates who pull nomination papers for town boards and committees. Delaney's office is also responsible for administering the oath of office for all town officials. All town boards and committees must post their meetings with the town clerk according to the Open Meeting Law.
