Located off Maple Road, Byam Elementary is one of Chelmsford's four elementary schools. The school places a strong emphasis on the development of student writing skills. Parents are very important in the involvement of their children's education. The Byam School Association (BSA) is the formal parent organization working to support enrichment programs and student activities throughout the year. Parents may also join the Byam School Council, which serves as an advisory committee to the principal.
