This place is always packed, but we got there early and sat immediately. Service was very slow and we had to keep asking for napkins, water, food. I ordered the lasagna bolognese, which I've had there before, but they messed this ne up. It wasn't a bolognese sauce. Never saw the waitress again to get it corrected. Out of the four dishes we had, two were OK and two weren't what we wanted. And it was *very* expensive. Much more than I had counted on.

We did takeout from here about a week ago. Very difficult finding a parking spot for those few minutes! However, the four of us loved our meals! I had the vegetable torta and it took care of two meals for me! Oh, and check out the Taste of Bertucci! You get a tasting of three different dishes ... it took my teenage daughter three meals to finish it! My husband says he is going to order that next time. Yummy!
The food at Bertucci's tastes great and the service was outstanding the last time I ate at this location. However, I just wish their servings were larger. Their individual pizzas are too small.
It's a great place to go for a very comfortable and decent, Italian meal. It's not flashy and can't compare to Boston's North End (a 30 minute or so drive from Chelmsford), but having said, I really like Bertucci's! It's a good and comfortable place with good and comfortable food. Pizzas are always great and the entrees are very good for the price. The salads are always fresh, the rolls are INCREDIBLE and you can get a very good glass of wine. Over all, it's the type of place where you want to be on a casual Saturday or Sunday afternoon because want a good meal that you will not have to dress up for or travel far to get to. Lastly, you will never find the restaurant empty. So that says something. :)
