Old Fashioned Farm Fair
All ages will enjoy the Barrett-Byam Homestead Farm Fair, Saturday, September 14, 12-4 p.m. The afternoon will include traditional fall fair events, including pony rides, old-time arts and crafts, cider making, hay rides, folk music, antique farm tractors, honey making and much more! This day is FREE, courtesy of the Chelmsford Historical Society. The fair is located at 40 Byam Rd.
9/11 Ceremony of Remembrance
The Chelmsford Military Community Covenant Task Force will be holding a touching ceremony in remembrance of the 9/11 tragedy, on Saturday, September 14, 10 a.m., Chelmsford Common. The service will include a flag raising, Patriotic songs, and the reading of the names of those from the local community who died in the attacks. The community is invited, rain or shine.
The public is invited to a potluck cookout to kick off Matthews's Memorial Church Sunday School year. The event is FREE, and will begin at approximately 12 noon, after the 11 a.m. service, 128 Gorham St. This FREE family event is open to everyone!

Dad/Children Story times
This story time is offered for dads and children ages two and up, Saturday, September 14, 10:30-11 a.m. Mom are also welcome! Snacks will follow the stories.
Teen Volunteer Training
This is a mandatory training program for teens who want to volunteer at library. The session will be held Saturday, September 14, 2-3 p.m. Teens interested in volunteering can download an application at the library website. Volunteers must be in at least 7th grade to apply.
