Weekend Agenda: A Book Donation, A BBQ with Cats & More

Here's your weekend agenda, full of local events around Chelmsford to help plan your weekend.

Chelmsford:

Donate Your BooksThe Chelmsford Friends of the Library will hold a book drop-off on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. Unwanted and gently used books, CDs and DVDs can be donated to the Dutton House, next to the Adams Library, at 25 Boston Road.
A BBQ at AgwayAgway, a yard, garden and pet shop, invites people to a barbecue Saturday at 11 a.m. to meet the Billerica Cat Care Coalition’s cats and kittens. All items are $1. Agway is located at 27 Maple Road. 

Westford:

Art Gallery Open House: On Saturday, Art on Main, a fine art gallery, will host a free open house with wine, snacks, conversation and fine artwork at 2 p.m. Saturday. Art on Main is located at 40 Main St.
Multi-Family Yard Sale: There will be a multi-family yard sale at 140 Plain Road in Westford on Saturday beginning at 8:30 a.m. Families will sell furniture, household items, prom gowns, books, games and more. All proceeds go to charity. For more yard sales in the area, check out the yard sale map!
Lawn Concert: Steve Blunt, an award winning children's musician will play a lawn concert for the whole family on Saturday at 11 a.m. under the oak tree at the J.V. Fletcher Library. Bring a blanket and enjoy the fun! The concert is free.

Nashua, N.H.: 

A Super Singles Dance: Looking for a date? On Saturday at the Nashua Radisson Hotel there will be a dance for singles at 8 p.m. until midnight. Admission is $15. Couples are welcome, but the dance, with live music, hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar, is best for singles about 35 to 65 years old. Can’t dance? There’s a lesson at 7:30 p.m.

Tewksbury:

Indoor Bake and Yard Sale: Wamesit Assembly is hosting an indoor bake sale on Sunday. All profits go to the youth group, Wamesit Assembly. People are welcome to rent a table at the yard sale for $20 to sell their own things
