Chelmsford Friends of the Library Book Drop-Off

Head over to the Dutton House on Saturday from 9 to noon and donate your used books, DVDs and other items to the library.

Holiday Fairs All Over The Place

Chelmsford’s the place to be if you want to go to a Holiday Fair this weekend. The First Parish UU Church on Westford Street has one starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aldersgate United Methodist on Boston Road has one starting at the same time, as does West Chelmsford United Methodist on Main Street, and the Central Congregational Church.

Boy Scout Troop 75 Christmas Tree Fundraiser

Head over to the Elks Club to help Boy Scout Troop 75 while also getting your Christmas Tree ready. The troop’s tree sale is on Saturday from 10 to 4.

Snowflake Tea

Enjoy high tea and artisan pastries at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts Cabaret Café on Saturday at noon. Please arrive no later than 12:30, call 978-250-3780 for tickets (they’re $20.)

Speaking of the CCA

The CCA Gallery Holiday Gift Shop will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Holiday Concert at the Central Congregational Church

Petra Pacaric (pictured) and Rebecca Plummer will perform at 7 p.m., with donations being accepted for the Open Pantry of Greater Lowell. For more information call 978-256-5931 or go

Hockey at the Forum

Middlesex Community College takes on the University of Hartford here in Chelmsford! (Well, okay, kinda in Chelmsford and kinda in Billerica). Puck drops at the Forum at 9 p.m. Tickets are free.
