Learn How to Make a Miniature Garden at Agway This Weekend

From Vinal Square to Kate's Corner, here are your Five Things for Jan. 15, 2014 in Chelmsford.

1. The Chelmsford Republican Town Committee... will meet at the Adams Library on Thursday, Jan. 16 at 6:30 p .m. to choose delegates for the state Republican Convention and plan for the annual Lincoln/Reagan Dinner

Karyn Polito, the Republican Candidate for Lieutenant Governor, will be on hand to speak. 


2. The Lowell Sun reports.... that the Trairatanaram Temple in North Chelmsford remains in a state of closure due to an impasse between two groups who used the building before building code violations came to light in October.


The report indicates that the two groups will meet in Middlesex Superior Court on Feb. 6 regarding the dispute. 


3. Want to Learn a Little More About Yoga…. There’s a course at the Westlands School starting on Wednesday

4. Public School or Private School?... That’s the question that will be asked at the Greater Visions Center on Old Westford Road as the Chelmsford Mothers’ Club holds a panel at Wednesday 6:45 p.m. The meeting’s free and open to all, including expectant moms and those with infants and small children.

5. Learn to Make a Minature Garden!... on Saturday at 11 a.m., there’s a course at the Chelmsford Agway hosted by Marie Nickerson, a gardner from Bedford Fields.
