Jeff Apostolakes for Planning Board Alternate

The heartbeat of Chelmsford is driven by volunteerism, passion, enthusiasm, and community involvement. 

Jeff Apostolakes has all of these qualities.  I have known Jeff for several years and have had many opportunities to work side by side with him on a few different occasions.  I was impressed by his professionalism, methodical approach to problems and tasks, and his genuine desire to make a difference and contribute something positive to the community.

Jeff has been a resident of Chelmsford for more than 50 years.  He grew up in our school system and went off to college.  When it was time to settle down and start a family, the location was easy:  Chelmsford. 

Even when tragedy struck his family with the loss of his young son, Ryan in 2003, he turned tragedy into something positive for the community.  He became an Open Space Steward and started the Run for Ryan’s Cup (a 5k Road Race to benefit the PAL programs and purchase emergency equipment). He’s a Town Meeting Representative, and a very successful business leader employed in management at Kronos, Inc. (located here in Chelmsford).  For his active involvement in maintaining Heart Pond, Jeff and his wife Barbara were named the 2012 Open Space Stewards of the Year.

He believes in doing the right things for the right reasons, is always willing to learn and grow through experience and hard work, is not afraid of fact based debates, and believes that every angle should be heard and respected.

I believe Jeff would be an asset to the Planning Board as an alternate and I hope that you join me in casting your vote for him.

Jeff’s hard work ethic, his family values, his dedication to community and open space preservation, as well as his unbiased approach and understanding of compliance and regulations are all reasons to consider voting for him as Planning Board Alternate on April 2nd.
