Twisters Hang on to Win Softball Championship
The Twisters won the title over the weekend with a one-run victory.
A champion was recently crowned in the Chelmsford Girls Softball League's 6-8 Division.
The Twisters went into the seventh inning up by three runs over the weekend, and though the Heat chipped away to get two of those runs back, it wasn't quite enough as the Twisters sealed a one-run victory.
Coaches Allison Roche and Tim Roche led the team, which consisted of Haylee Metcalf, Katelyn Mann, Andrea Lisciotto, Cassidy Moore, Jeylia Pok, Logan Donovan, Maggie Potter, Sam Morton, Maria Combs, Chevonne Forgan, and Lauren Farrell
