Chelmsford Basketball Eliminated by Lowell in First Round
The Lions stormed to an early lead, but Lowell was too much for CHS in the end.
Chelmsford's stay in the boys basketball postseason wasn't a very long one thanks to a difficult Lowell team.
The Lions took the lead in the first quarter, but Lowell eventually was too much as the visitors bounced the locals with a 68-64 decision.
Lowell, the tournament's No. 9 seed, will now take on top ranked St. John's Prep in the quarterfinal round.
Chelmsford's season, meanwhile, comes to a close with a record of 13-8.
