Hundreds Attend Nashoba Career Night Featuring Sal's Pizza Owner

Sal Lupoli spoke to participants in the school's restaurant, also judging a pizza contest at the career night and open house.

Sal's Pizza owner Sal Lupoli, a Chelmsford resident, spoke to several hundred prospective students and their parents last week during a career night and open house at Nashoba Valley Technical High School in Westford.

Lupoli told the students the story of how he went from a single pizza restaurant in New Hampshire to more than 40 locations, in addition to five Salvatore's Italian Restaurants that he opened as well.

In addition, Lupoli judged a pizza contest and graded each of the six pies based on taste, appearance and creativity.

Chelmsford resident Ian Henry, a junior at the school, won the pizza contest, but the guest of the evening was impressed by all of the participants.

"Any one of you could walk into one of my stores and make pizza," Lupoli told the students in the contest, according to the school.
