One Chelmsford resident was named Athlete of the Month while another represented the school at an event in Boston.

Chelmsford students have been busy in recent weeks, making contributions at Nashoba Valley Technical High School.

For her performance with the softball team, Chelmsford resident Katie Demers was chosen as the school's Athlete of the Month for March.

Demers is the daughter of Roland and Kim Demers. She is a senior who is also

With plans to attend Middlesex Community College this fall, Demers is currently enrolled in the Nashoba TV & Media Production/Theatre Arts program.

Also in recent weeks, a pair of senior student-athletes were among over 300 students from around the state who attended the Massachusetts Celebration of National Girls and Women in Sport Day at Faneuil Hall in Boston.

Representing Nashoba Tech was Chelmsford resident Bryana Robinson, who was joined by Athletic Director David Fusco, Cosmetology teacher Donna McMahon and Townsend resident Brittany Thomas.
