Chelmsford Students Honored at Nashoba Tech
Students from Chelmsford were named the school's Athlete of the Month and Student of the Month.
A pair of Chelmsford students got 2014 started on the right note at Nashoba Valley Technical High School.
Chelmsford resident Brian Boyle was selected as the school's Athlete of the Month for January. A junior defenseman on the Vikings boys hockey team, Boyle is in the Electrical Technology program.
Boyle's younger brother, David, was an Athlete of the Month selection in November.
Another Chelmsford resident also took home honors in January. Chloe Adler-Mandile was picked as the Nashoba Student of the Month.
Adler-Mandile is a part of the Engineering Technology program, where she received high honors. She is also a member of SkillsUSA, Mock Trial, and the cross-country, basketball and track teams.
History instructor Phillip Massa nominated Adler-Mandile for the Student of the Month honors.
“Chloe is a strong A student," he said. "Her academic consistency is present not only in my class but in all areas of academics and her technical program. She is always cordial, well-spoken and insightful. She is a very well-rounded and mature student.”
