Chelmsford Students Help Fight Against Hunger

Chelmsford students recently teamed up with Sal's and the Boston Celtics in an effort to bring awareness to the fight against hunger.

Students at the Center School took part in a pep rally last week after fourth and fifth graders starred in their own Public Service Announcement video about hunger awareness, ending hunger and eating healthy.

The video also asks residents to register for Project Bread's Walk for Hunger, which takes place on May 4.

In addition, students also presented a check to Project Bread, directed towards ending hunger.

Guests at the pep rally were Sal's CEO Sal Lupoli, former Celtics guard Dana Barros and Ellen Park, the Project Bread Executive Director. Lucky, the Boston Celtics mascot, put on an dunk show for the students during the event.
