Students in Chelmsford have no need to continue running through their usual superstitious pre-snow routines. The decision has been made.
School officials made the announcement on the Chelmsford Public Schools website just before 5 a.m. on Wednesday.
"Due to the impending storm, all Chelmsford Public Schools are closed today, Wednesday, Feb. 5," the announcement said. "All student clubs, student activities, and the full day childcare program at the community education center are cancelled as well. A decision will be made later in the day regarding athletics and community education evening classes."
