Van Liew Sends Out New Mailer: What's Your Take?

One of Chelmsford's most polarizing figures has sent out a new mailing piece. Do you have an opinion?

Roland Van Liew sent out another mailing (pictured) to Chelmsford residents recently, and today we want to get your thoughts.

Van Liew has advocated against various town officials, alleging wrongdoing in the construction of 9 North Road. He also pursued a recall election against four selectmen, and ran for the Board of Selectmen in 2013.

There are very few people active in Chelmsford local government who do not have strong feelings for Van Liew either for him or against him, but he still feels strongly over his viewpoints.

"I don't think it's condescending to assume that Chelmsford residents don't approve of graft," he told Chelmsford Patch. "Anyone who complains about the information in the 'Why Perjury Matters' piece is clearly more interested in predatory developers than in good and honest government."
