All but 5 are on the police department. That is job loyalty. Don't see that much anymore.

Is this really their salary or does this include details and/or overtime. I think it is important to note as many details do not come out of the police budget and is paid by the company requesting the details. I would like to see a better breakdown of salary pay vs. detail pay before the outcry starts

Sorry, these figures do include details and overtime.

I think it's more informative to show the total amounts that they are earning. If you want to add a separate column to also show their base salaries, that would be fine as well. Thanks for publishing this Krista.

I would also like to know, not that it is any of our buisness, how much of this is Quinn Bill reimbursements. Many of our officers get money to offset their educations as they advance their degrees to the town's benefit. There are many additional monies in this amount that are above and beyond their normal salary and it is important for the residents to know these protectors of Chelmsford normally do not get 150,000 a year for a normal 40 hour work week. Not that any 40 hour week for the officers is normal. And before people ask why I defend them, ask yourself, do you want their job. Do you want your family every night wondering if Daddy or Mommy are coming home.
