The Proposed Mill Road 40B Goes Before The Zoning Board On Thursday Night

What's your take?

The Zoning Board of Appeals will be taking questions from citizens and asking questions to developers of a 40B Affordable Housing project at 274 Mill Rd., just a few hundred feet away from Exit 29 on Route 3.

Studies by the developers indicate that currently about 7,000 cars go by the property on an average day, with 1,000 of those cars driving through the area during morning rush hour.

Estimates indicate the property would add about 500 cars each morning, with 45 percent heading southbound on Route 3.

The property was undeveloped until the 1930s, when it became an orchard. It remained in use as an orchard until the 1950s, and a home was built there sharing the property in the early 40s, with it remaining in residential use until today.

Proposals for the property include 120 units and 200 parking spaces.

What's your take, and what will happen tonight? Let us know in the comments.
