Obama Chooses Chelmsford's Bauman As Guest At State of the Union

The Chelmsford resident is one of six guests invited to the speech by the Obama Administration.

The White House has announced that Chelmsford resident Jeff Bauman as one of six guests at President Obama's State of the Union Address on Tuesday night to be seated with Michelle Obama, Dr. Jill Biden and Valerie Jarrett, Senior Advisor to the President. 

Bauman is joined by Carlos Arredondo, the man who helped save his life during the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings.

Other guests include Moore, OK fire chief Gary Bird, former NBA player and gay athlete Jason Collins, 16-year-old Arizona entrepreneur Joey Hudy and 2013 Washington D.C Teacher of the Year Kathy Hollowell-Makle. 

The annual speech will take place at 9 p.m., with a live "Open for Questions" event from the White House taking place after the speech on the White House website.
