The board moved to the composition of the Grinder Pump Committee, and Chairman Hanson said that he and another member may have a potential conflict of interest since his condominium development has a grinder pump and Selectman Pat Wotjas could have a grinder pump, but town counsel said there was no conflict of interest in determining the composition of the committee.

Deadlines for appointments would be in the last week of November, with appointments to be finalized on Dec. 2 and the committee meeting after that, with an expected resolution to present to Town Meeting in late February.

Dixon said he would like at least two members of the Sewer Fairness Alliance and two Selectmen on the board asked if members of the Selectmen could be on the board. Hanson said that he and Wotjas should not be on the commission.

Other members of the board said there should not be any additional minimum partition requirements regarding membership of the committee until applications had been received.

Members should expect a significant time commitment until March, with meetings occurring as often as once a week, although the board said that there would likely be no traveling.
