Board of Selectmen to Review Town Manager's Performance and Restaurant's Tax Delinquency at Monday Meeting

Monday's Board of Selectmen meeting begins at 7 p.m. in Town Hall.

Chelmsford's Board of Selectmen will address a variety of topics, including the performance of the Town Manager during a Monday meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. inside Town Hall.

The meeting beings with selectmen addressing a variety of committee vacancies, followed by a presentation on the Sheehan Farm agricultural preservation restriction.

Under public hearings is one to discuss joint pole petitions at Chelmsford and Worthen Streets.

The second public hearing is slated to be with the owner of India Palace on Littleton Road. According to back up materials for Monday's meeting, the business delinquent on its taxes.

As a result, board members will discuss whether it is necessary to suspend or revoke India Palace's All Alcohol Restaurant License.

After deciding to grant a one day beer and wine license to Madeline Needles, selectmen will continue a public hearing about the All Alcohol License for NOBO Restaurant.

Later in the evening, the board is scheduled to discus Town Manager Paul Cohen's performance. 

The materials included with Monday's agenda indicate that the review will be a positive one. Following the meeting, selectmen are scheduled to go into Executive Session to decide on Cohen's salary for Fiscal year 2015. Cohen currently earns $155,215.
