Board of Selectmen to Discuss Wildwood Stop Sign, Pole Petition

The meeting takes place Monday night at 7 p.m. inside Town Hall.

There are just three meetings scheduled this week in Chelmsford. Among them is the Board of Selectmen, which opens the week with a Monday night meeting.

The session is scheduled to take place at 7 p.m. inside Town Hall, Room 204.

Monday's agenda begins with a discussion about committee vacancies before moving on to public hearings.

There are two public hearings that selectmen will take part in. The first is a petition for a Verizon pole on Billerica Road that is has the recommendation of the Town Engineer.

Next in the public hearings section is a conduit petition regarding the area of Wedgewood Drive. The Town Engineer reviewed the National Grid plan and did field observation of the proposed location, and recommends this proposal as well.

Selectmen will later hear from Applebee's on Drum Hill Road. The business has a change of manager on the horizon.

Among the presentations later in the evening is the Town Manager's report about a stop sign at the intersection of Wildwood Road. Concern for safety in that area was raised by a Woodlawn Ave. resident.
