Affordable Housing Opponents Plan to Show Up at Monday Meeting

Board of Selectmen are seeking community input; Monday evening is your chance to speak up one way or the other.

Chelmsford residents who are opposed to a plan to build affordable housing at 276 Mill Rd. plan to show up in force Monday, July 29, at the Chelmsford Board of Selectmen meeting.

They plan to protest a proposed 120-unit affordable-housing project.

The proposed project, on Mill Road, just off Billerica Road, would help Chelmsford meet its requirement for pitching in to help meet a statewide requirement that every town help house people with lower income, also known as 40B.
