Woman Reportedly Run Over by Car, Man Suffers Possibly Severed Finger

The following incidents were provided by the Chelmsford Fire Department, taking place between June 29 and July 5.

Sunday, June 29

  • At 7:34 a.m. an elderly woman on Chelmsford Street suffered a fall, requiring an ambulance.
  • On Golden Cove Road, crews were called for a report of a motor vehicle striking a bicyclist, injuring a Windham, N.H. resident.
  • A structure fire was reported on Cambridge Street, located on the home's porch. Firefighters were called to the scene.
Monday, June 30
  • At 9:39 a.m. on Dalton Road and North Road, a motor vehicle fire was reported after a two-car crash.
  • A doctor on Herbert Road ordered a transport for a 24-year-old female who suffered a blood clot.
  • Emergency medical aid was called in on Canter Road for a woman who was run over by a car.
Tuesday, July 1
  • On Summer Street firefighters were called to a report of a person stuck in an elevator.
  • At 10:18 p.m. an unconscious man was located on Summer Street, requiring ambulance response.
Wednesday, July 2
  • Firefighters were called to Apollo Drive for a two-car crash involving a Rockport driver and Lowell resident. One of the patients was complaining of a leg injury.
  • On Chelmsford Street a vehicle lock out was reported with the child inside and the car still running.
Thursday, July 3
  • At Wal-Mart on Drum Hill Road an evaluation was needed for a male party taking drugs.
  • Firefighters investigated the smell of burning plastic on Boston Road.
Friday, July 4
  • Medical aid was requested at the finish line of the annual road race for a 13-year-old vomiting at the finish line near Central Square.
  • On Main Street, a single vehicle crash into the guardrail was reported.
Saturday, July 5
  • A 21-year-old man possibly cut off his finger following an incident on Littleton Road.
