Vermont Men Arraigned for Murder of Former Chelmsford Woman

According to the Boston Globe, bail was set at $500,000 for Richard Fletcher and his half-brother for their alleged involvement in the 2010 murder.

Accused of taking part in murdering and disposing the body of a former Chelmsford woman, two Vermont men were arraigned on Monday with bail set at $500,000 by the presiding judge.

The Boston Globe reported that Richard Fletcher, 27, and his half-brother Keith Baird, 33, appeared in court, charged with first degree murder in the death of Mary O'Hagan, 78, who lived in Chelmsford until her retirement.

Also accused in the death is Michael Norrie, 23, but he was not arraigned because he is already facing charges, the newspaper reported.

According to the Boston Globe, O'Hagan's body was found on Oct. 3, 2010, four weeks after she was killed, moved to an abandoned lot, and moved again about 10 miles from her home where she was eventually located.
