Several Car Break-ins Over The Weekend

The following information was supplied by the Chelmsford Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following are entries from the Chelmsford Police log for Sept. 28, 29 and 30.

Friday, Sept. 28


  • Joann Patterson, 55, of 239 Pleasant St. in Lowell was arrested on charges of alleged shoplifting.


12:00 a.m. - An unwanted male guest appeared at a home on Drum Hill Road.

6:56 a.m. - Police were dispatched after reports of a dead coyote in the middle of Grandview Road.

Saturday, Sept. 29


  • Paul Fielding, 46 of 71 Princeton St. was arrested on charges of alleged assault and battery and intimidation of a witness following a domestic dispute.


8:23 a.m. - Police investigated reports of stolen items taken from vehicles on Sunset Avenue.

3:19 p.m. - Suspicious activity on B Street was reported from residents who believed people were entering their vehicles.

10:30 p.m. - A large group of teenagers near Lady Slipper Lane and Pine Hill Road garnered the attention of three officers.

Sunday, Sept. 30


  • Anthony Dones Torruellas, 24, 18 Kempton Ct. in Lawrence was arrested on charges of alleged domestic abuse law violations and assault and battery.


8:48 a.m. - A resident on Park Road complained that his neighbors' lawnmower was too loud.

1:46 p.m. - Police were on the scene at a business on Tyngsboro Road that reported someone had stolen the wheels and tires off several vehicles.
