Second Individual At-Large After Early Morning Arrest

Chelmsford Police stopped two individuals on Vincent Road this morning. One fled, but is not believed to be dangerous.

 

An individual fled from the scene of an arrest during a traffic stop on Vincent Road near Mill Road at approximately 3:30 a.m. this morning.

According to Chelmsford Police Lt. Dan Ahern, the two individuals were inside of a vehicle with Arkansas license plates believed to be stolen.

One of the individuals within the car was arrested, while the second escaped on foot.

Chelmsford and Massachusetts State Police conducted a search of the area with cars and helicopters until approximately 12:30 p.m.

The second individual is believed to still be in the area and is not considered to be dangerous.

UPDATE 4:11 p.m. - The incident took place on Empire Street, not Vincent Road.

The suspect at-large is described as a Hispanic male, early 20's, with dark hair.

The individual apprehended at the scene was Ramon Morales, 28, of 110 Appleton St. in Lowell. He has been charged with alleged disorderly conduct and receiving a stolen motor vehicle.
