Resident Says Shots Fired In October 911 Call, Police Cannot Find Source

Oct. 14, 12:46 p.m. – Police responded to reports of shots being fired in the area of Braeburn Road.

Upon arrival, officers met with the man who called in the shots, with the man believing the shots sounded like they came from a shotgun approximately five minutes earlier.

Officers could find no sign of any individual with a shotgun in the area.

Oct. 18, 10:05 a.m. – While patrolling Chelmsford Street, an officer observed a male wearing broken slippers walk across the street holding a paper bag and holding two soda cans while talking to himself.

The man entered a business, and the officer followed to make sure everything was alright, with an employee at the business saying there was no problem, as the man was a regular customer.

Oct. 18, 7:57 p.m. – Animal control was dispatched to Bonanza Drive for reports of loud dog in the area. The animal was found, but his owners were not home. Dispatch attempted to call the home owners, but they were unsuccessful.
