The following information was supplied by the Chelmsford Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Oct. 26, 7:37 p.m. – A resident on Brick Kiln Road called police for a noise complaint, although police could not find any significant noise at the location reported.

The neighbor of the resident told police that the resident continually complains about her out of spite.

Oct. 23, 2:17 p.m. – An officer came out to the front lobby to talk to a man and his son. The son’s mother allegedly put a restraining order on the man, which also stipulated the man could not drop off his son at school.

However, the mother requested the man drop off the son at school, so the man requested guidance on what he should do.

The officer advised the couple to amend the restraining order to allow him to pick up the son from school, with the officer escorting the man and the son to the school, where the son was turned over to the custody of a teacher on premises.

Oct. 23, 3:11 p.m. – Two individuals called police after being upset with protesters at Eastgate Plaza gathering signatures to impeach President Obama, particularly seeming upset with a picture of the president with a Hitler mustache.

An officer found the protesters and determined they were peacefully exercising their first amendment rights while also staying on the sidewalk, avoiding going onto private property. The officer also determined that the protesters were not impeding foot traffic or vehicular traffic.

Then a protester then said that the individuals started grabbing their signs and “hip-checked” him, with another protester saying she was pushed.

The officer informed the individuals they could not physically touch the protesters or their signs.

No charges were filed.
