Chelmsford Police Release Photo of Alleged Citizens Bank Robber

Police said the two men left the area in a red pick up truck.

Updated Tuesday at 4:49 p.m.: Police released a pair of photos of the man who allegedly robbed Citizens Bank inside Stop & Shop.

According to Chelmsford Police, the man possibly parked a red pick up truck in the Staples parking lot with a getaway driver waiting.

Officers said they are looking for a thing white man in his 50s wearing a black running suit.

Original Story: Chelmsford Police said they are are searching for two men allegedly involved in a Tuesday afternoon bank robbery.

Police tweeted at about 3 p.m. that they are looking for a red pick up truck with two men who allegedly robbed Citizens Bank inside Stop & Shop on Chelmsford Street.

Officers said the pick up truck involved had Massachusetts license plates that read 585XB3.
