Pedestrian Involved Crash Reported on Courthouse Lane

Information provided by the Chelmsford Fire Department.

The following incidents were provided by the Chelmsford Fire Department, taking place between March 2 and March 8.

Sunday, March 2

  • Firefighters responded to Putnam Road to assist a homeowner with a broken water pipe.
  • A motor vehicle crash with airbag deployment occurred on Route 495 near Exit 34.
Monday, March 3
  • At 8:42 a.m. a rollover crash was reported on Route 495 near Exit 35. The crash was determined to be in Westford and handled by the Westford Fire Department.
  • An Amesbury man passed out at a business on Billerica Road, bringing an ambulance to the scene.
Tuesday, March 4
  • On Technology Drive, an ambulance was called for a report of an unresponsive female.
  • Firefighters were dispatched to Groton Road after someone called in a fire that was not a grass or brush fire.
Wednesday, March 5
  • A resident fell in the main lobby of a building on Wilson Street, suffering unknown injuries.
Thursday, March 6
  • Several firefighters were called to Pine Hill Road just after midnight for a report of smoke in a building on Pine Hill Road.
  • At least one person suffered injuries during a crash on Route 3 near Exit 31 at 6:50 p.m. The crash involved a Westford driver and a Methuen resident.
Friday, March 7
  • A woman on Westland Ave. took a fall and after fainting.
  • On Courthouse Lane an ambulance was called for a vehicle versus pedestrian accident with injuries.
  • The odor of gasoline was reported inside a building on Tyngsboro Road.
Saturday, March 8
  • A six-year-old boy was choking on Littleton Road. The obstruction was removed from the boy's throat.
