New Hampshire Man Arrested for Drug, Assault Charges

Chelmsford Police Department officers made several arrests in recent days. Below are those arrests, which do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, March 5

  • Following an incident at the Hawthorne Suites on Research Place, officers arrested Robert D. Johansen, 30, of 19 Bourbon Street, Manchester. Johansen was charged with illegal possession of a Class B substance, two counts of malicious destruction of property, disorderly person, assault and battery by a dangerous weapon and assault with a dangerous weapon.
Friday, March 7
  • David N. Sneden, 48, of 4 Laredo Road, Chelmsford, was arrested following a traffic stop on North Road near Drum Hill Rotary. Sneden was charged with operating under the influence of liquor and operating a motor vehicle negligibly to endanger.
Saturday, March 8
  • Officers were called to Riverneck Road for a report of past suspicious activity. Chelmsford Police went on to arrest Augustine M. Makarutsa, 19, of 11 Glendale Road, Chelmsford. Makarutsa was charged with assault and battery on a police officer.
