Multiple Rollover Crashes Reported, Several Residents Fall on Ice

Information provided by the Chelmsford Fire Department.

The following incidents were provided by the Chelmsford Fire Department, taking place between February 17 and February 22.

Monday, Feb. 17

  • At 1:30 a.m. firefighters were called to Orchard Lane for an emergency medical aid call after a woman was experiencing general weakness.
  • An ambulance arrived on Miland Ave.after a one-year-old child suffered a fall and bumped their head.
  • At 12:02 p.m. an elderly woman fell inside Stop and Shop on Chelmsford Street.
Tuesday, Feb. 18
  • At 6:46 a.m. on Shedd Lane, a 14-year-old man was suffering from a seizure.
  • On Old Westford Road, crews were called for a report on a motor vehicle crash with airbag deployment.
  • An ambulance arrived at Mill Road after a man fainted inside a building in the area.
Wednesday, Feb. 19
  • Dispatch received a report of water leaking from a home's ceiling on North Road.
  • Following a crash on Route 495 in Chelmsford, several parties reportedly suffered injuries. Several ambulances and fire crews were called to the scene.
  • A rollover crash occurred on Longview Drive at Old Westford Road at 1:12 p.m.
  • At 3:44 p.m. firefighters were dispatched to Boston Road for a report of an outside fire that was not a grass or brush fire.
Thursday, Feb. 20
  • On Route 495, crews were called near Exit 35 near Route 3 for a rollover crash.
  • Injuries were reported at 6:55 a.m. on Route 3 near Exit 32. Following a crash, a motor vehicle was reported on its side.
  • On Summer Street an ambulance was called after a woman fell in the snow at 2:22 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 21
  • Several engines were dispatched to Boston Road where inside the Carriage House Apartments sparks were flying out of a baseboard.
Saturday, Feb. 22
  • A 69-year-old woman slipped on the ice on North Road and required an ambulance.
  • Someone left a kerosene jug unattended in the parking lot of the Summer Street strip mall.
