Man Arrested for Allegedly Stealing Drugs from Employer, Dorchester Man Charged Following Fight

Chelmsford Police Department officers made several arrests in recent days. Below are those arrests, which do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, June 9

  • Police were called called to a Middlesex Street business for a drug offense, and to assist in terminating an employee. Police arrested Edward Carvalho, 28, of 255 Fall River Ave., Seekonk. Carvalho was arrested and charged with two counts of larceny of a controlled substance an authorized dispenser, two counts of receiving stolen property less than $250, and illegal possession of a Class B substance.
Thursday, June 12
  • Officers arrested Justin R. Macero, 37, of 468 Fletcher Street, Lowell, on an outstanding warrant for shoplifting by concealment.
Friday, June 13
  • After a motor vehicle crash on Boston Road, police arrested the driver at the scene. Sean P. Gately, 48, of 6 Summit Street, Woburn, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor.
Sunday, June 15
  • At 12:57 a.m. multiple officers were called to Independence Drive for a possible fight in the parking lot. Following the incident, Daquan A. Chadwick, 25, of 508 Park Street, Dorchester, was arrested. Chadwick was charged with assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery, and disorderly conduct.
