Lowell Man Arrested on Warrant

  • At 8:23 a.m., Animal Control checked Clancy Street for three loose pit bulls.
  • At 1:49 p.m., police checked Burning Tree Lane for a suspicious truck in a driveway.

  • Animal Control picked up a dead skunk on Needham Street at 9:12 a.m. 
  • Animal Control picked up a dead bird at Acton Road and Bartlett Street at 9:23 a.m.
  • Animal Control responded to Stedman Street at 9:58 to talk to a resident who reported pests in the house.
  • At 10:19 a.m., Animal Control responded to Westford Street to help an injured squirrel.
  • A Whippletree Road resident reported damage to their mailbox at 1:07 p.m.
  • At 5:13 p.m., police responded to a Chelmsford Street ATM after a report of someone trying to break into it.
  • At 9:10 p.m., a Newfield Street resident reported vandalism to their car. Police said the rear window had been smashed out.
  • A Lowell man was arrested at 11:19 p.m., police said. Christopher Anthony Temple, 31, of 608 School St., was arrested on a warrant.
