Firefighters Assist With Man Falling Inside Church, Tree on Top of Home

The following incidents were provided by the Chelmsford Fire Department, taking place between March 16 and March 22.

Sunday, March 16

  • At 4:32 a.m. on Proctor Road, a motor vehicle accident with injuries was reported. The accident reportedly involved a vehicle crashing into a pole with unknown injuries. Firefighters responding to the area were unable to find a victim.
  • An elderly man fell inside a church on North Road. An ambulance was called to the church to evaluate him.
Monday, March 17
  • Inside a Research Place apartment, a pregnant female's water broke.
  • On Research Place inside a hotel room, a guest was experiencing suicidal thoughts.
  • At 11:49 a.m. a woman on Westford Street fell and hit her head, requiring an ambulance.
  • Just after noon, a brush fire was reported on Billerica Road at a business in the area.
  • A woman suffered a possible broken nose inside an apartment on Chelmsford Street.
Tuesday, March 18
  • A 72-year-old woman fell inside a bathroom on Sinai Circle, and was unconscious when located.
  • An illegal burn was reported on Jean Ave., bringing the Fire Captain to the scene.
  • On Jensen Ave., several emergency responders were called for a 27-year-old with numbness in his hands.
  • A Wildes Road resident, 85, was choking on a piece of food. The obstruction was removed.
Wednesday, March 19
  • On Scotty Hollow Drive, an 85-year-old woman took a fall from the top of the stairs.
  • At 11:39 a.m. an ambulance was called to Westford Street for a report of a six-week-old child having difficulty breathing.
  • On Brick Kiln Road, a man was struck by a motor vehicle, but no injury was reported.
Thursday, March 20
  • A motor vehicle accident involving a Grafton driver and a New Hampshire resident was reported on Technology Drive.
  • On Mill Road, a male party fainted in the hallway of a business in the area.
Friday, March 21
  • At 6:38 p.m. a resident on Marinel Ave. called to report that they had water in their basement.
  • An odor of natural gas was reported on Kennedy Drive.
Saturday, March 22
  • On Route 495, a motor vehicle crash with injuries was reported just before Exit 32. Westford Fire Department cleared the scene.
  • A 17-year-old man was vomiting on Amelia Drive, possibly due to drug related issues.
  • Firefighters investigated a tree on the roof of a Bonanza Road home.
