Driver Found Slumped Over the Wheel on Richardson Road

The following incidents were provided by the Chelmsford Fire Department, taking place between March 9 and March 15.

Sunday, March 9
  • At 1:44 a.m. an ambulance was called to Richardson Road for a report of a driver, who was a Chelmsford resident, slumped over the wheel.
  • An 89-year-old man was suffering from abdominal pain on Chelmsford Street at 10:09 a.m.
Monday, March 10
  • Firefighters received a call for a report of a person who fell in front of a building on Billerica Road at 8:21 a.m., suffering unknown injuries.
  • Dispatch required an ambulance for a 43-year-old on Mill Road who had been suffering seizures since about 45 minutes prior.
Tuesday, March 11
  • At 6:13 a.m. a 35-year-old man passed out inside a Parlee Road residence.
  • Inside a business on Parkhurst Road, a customer fell down the stairs and required medical attention.
  • A resident on Summer Street fell near the back door, suffering an unknown injury.
  • At 5:35 p.m. a Chelmsford driver struck a pedestrian, who was also a Chelmsford resident, in the road in front of CVS on Boston Road. The man was transported to a nearby hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
  • A man in the Stop & Shop parking lot on Chelmsford Street had a cut above the eye.
  • Crews were called to a motor vehicle accident on Route 3 at about 9:22 p.m. involving a Manchester, N.H., driver.
Wednesday, March 12
  • On Route 495 before Exit 32, dispatch reported a motor vehicle crash with injuries at about 8:35 a.m. Firefighters responded to the reported single vehicle crash and did not find anything, but Massachusetts State Police reported one vehicle in the breakdown lane possibly involved.
  • At 4:39 p.m. an elderly female on Dawn Drive requested assistance as she was having trouble with a microwave.
Thursday, March 13
  • A 22-year-old male employee of a Billerica Road business was having a diabetic reaction.
  • At 7:02 p.m. an ambulance was called to Littleton Road for a report of an unresponsive male.
Friday, March 14
  • On Washington Street, a 13-year-old male suffered a possible knee injury.
  • Firefighters investigated the smell of smoke in a Littleton Road home at 11:18 p.m.
Saturday, March 15
  • At 7:33 a.m. a woman fell outside of a Pineneedle Street property.
  • Westford Fire Department reported a crash on the northbound side of Route 495 involving a Rindge, N.H., driver.
