Chelmsford Police Searching for Alleged Bank of America Robber

The incident was reported around 4 p.m. on Summer Street.

Chelmsford Police are investigating a bank robbery on Wednesday afternoon at Bank of America.

Police tweeted before 4 p.m. that a robbery had "just occurred" at the Summer Street Bank of America branch.

Though no vehicle description was available, police said the suspect is a white man, about 5'8" tall, with a thin build and tape on his fingers.

In addition, police said the man was wearing a green sweatshirt, had a nose piercing and was wearing a black beanie hat over a baseball cap.

Police updated that the suspect was also wearing a fake beard and red glasses.
