Brush Fires Reported, Vehicle Drives Through Storefront Window

Information provided by the Chelmsford Fire Department.

The following incidents were provided by the Chelmsford Fire Department, taking place between April 13 and April 19.

Sunday, April 13

  • At 3:28 p.m. several fire engines were sent to The Paper Store on Drum Hill Road after a fire alarm was struck.
  • On Technology Drive a person was found unresponsive at 3:51 p.m., and an ambulance was sent to the scene.
Monday, April 24
  • A three-year-old boy had a fever and ear ache at the Best Western.
  • On Elizabeth Drive, an emergency medical aid call came in for a woman having a panic attack.
  • A crash with possible injuries was reported on Chelmsford Street.
  • Firefighters were called to Brittany Lane for a report of a brush and grass fire.
  • Dispatch received a call for a branch down on wires, causing them to smolder on Pine Hill Road.
  • A 69-year-old woman was found unresponsive and not breathing on Mason Ave.
Tuesday, April 15
  • An elderly man fell and suffered a cut to the head on Montview Road.
  • Firefighters were called to Billerica Road for unauthorized burning of construction materials.
Wednesday, April 16
  • At 9:03 a.m. a vehicle reportedly drove through a building's plate glass window at the Jenny Craig location on Alpine Lane.
Thursday, April 17
  • An ambulance was called to Chelmsford Street for a 1.5-year-old suffering a possible seizure.
  • On Brick Kiln Road, an elderly man from Salem, N.H., fell in the UPS pick up building lobby.
  • A 41-year-old man passed out on Cushing Place, possibly alcohol related.
Friday, April 18
  • At a gym on Parkhurst Road a 64-year-old man from Carlisle passed out.
  • A resident on Billerica Road suffered an appendix attack.
  • Crews were called to Pine Hill Road where a single crash occurred with airbag deployment involving a Manchester, N.H., driver.
Saturday, April 19
  • An ambulance was called to Independence Drive for an intoxicated man who was unresponsive.
  • Brush fires were reported on Wotton Lane and Westland Ave. at around 2 p.m.
