Arrests Made on Drug, OUI Charges in Recent Days

The following information was supplied by the Chelmsford Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Chelmsford Police Department officers made two arrests in recent days. Below are those arrests, which do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, January 29

  • Police arrested Matthew P. Mercer, 23, of 4 Bartlett Street, Chelmsford. Officers charged him with possession of Class A drugs with intent to distribute, and distributing Class A drugs.
  • During the same incident, police also arrested Ronald H. Mercer, 49, of 4 Bartlett Street, Chelmsford, and charged him with possession of Class A drugs with the intent to distribute, and possession of a Class B substance.
Thursday, January 30
  • Jeffrey D. Fallier, 26, of 48 Stonegate Road, Chelmsford, was taken into custody on three outstanding warrant charges. He was charged with receiving stolen property, distributing Class E drugs, and operating a suspended license/unregistered motor vehicle.
Friday, January 31
  • Officers arrested Joy Invernizzi-Contover, 55, of 28 Baldwin Street, Winchester, and charged her with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and signal light violations.
